Originally bred to herd sheep in the French Pyrenees Mountains, the Pyrenean Shepherd is a powerful dog with a small, lean body and unique triangular head. The breed has two varieties: Rough-Faced and Smooth-Faced. An ideal companion, the Pyrenean Shepherd is alert, sensitive and intelligent.
